Entry level boat introduced to market

A new boat aimed at people looking to take up sailing is being
unveiled at the London Boat Show.
The all-Cornish Crabber 12 is among the many vessels making
their debut at the show at London's ExCeL Centre - which runs until
January 15.
Cornish Crabbers, based in North Cornwall, has called on the
talents of prolific yacht designer David Thomas to oversee design
of the Crabber 12.
The vessel employs the revolutionary resin infusion technique,
and has been aimed squarely at meeting the needs of beginners with
a price tag of below £5,000 for the first 10 sold.
However, those new to sailing should make sure that before
hitting the high seas they take out some boat insurance first.
People buying a Crabber 12 at the show will be among the first
to do so, too. The first two 12s rolled off the production line
days before the boat show began.
