Towergate Mardon are pleased to announce that they will be the
lead sponsor of the 2010 Bassenthwaite Sailing Club Annual Regatta
Week, which runs from the 31st July to 8th August. They are using
the opportunity to promote their Insurance4dinghies product which launched in
2009.
John Tuckwell, Sales Director for Towergate Mardon says "Bass
Week is one of the most popular open events in the North of England
and is one not to be missed. With 9 days of competitive sailing,
It's essentially a family regatta, offering some youth training and
a fantastic social itinerary, We see it as an ideal forum to
promote Insurance4dinghies. With premiums starting from
as little as £21, it's the only dinghy product in the market that
provides customers with the opportunity to select insurance cover
based on their dinghy usage".
Competitors at Bass Week can expect close fleet racing, with two
pursuit races and several 'round the lake races' during the week.
Sailing classes are Lasers, Enterprises, RS200, GP Fourteens, Fast
Handicap 850-1000, Medium Handicap 1001-1125, Slow Handicap
1126-1200, Topper and Mirror Handicap and the racing format will be
8 separate starts at 3 minute intervals for each designated
Class.
Inclusive entry for 17 races are £85 crewed, £62 s/h if received
by 1 July or £105/£75 after 1 July until regatta starts. The
weekend series costs are £25/£18, Midweek (9 races) £72/£50.
