Lee Valley Caravan Park to reopen
Lee Valley Caravan Park is to reopen after four years
and for those returning to the site it might be wise to check your
caravan insurance is still up to date.
Closed since 2008, the facility has remained empty as proposed
plans for gravel extraction failed to materialise. Now the site is
set to return to its former glory and caravan owners are set to
revisit the site that was once a popular destination for
holidaymakers.
Developments in recent years have seen caravans increase in size
and sophistication, especially since the Lee Valley Park was first
built in the 1960s. Increasingly they have become more and more
tailored to suit their occupants with bespoke offerings and extra
add-ons. Similarly, caravan insurance can be customized to suit all
types of caravans and motorhomes and all types of needs and
requirements.
The Lee Valley Regional Park Authority has begun plans to
modernise the site accordingly and gave access to the Hertfordshire
Mercury to look around the facilities.
Senior parkland manager Jon Carney said: "Static caravans can be
as warm as your house. All you need to do is put food in the fridge
and clothes in the drawer - it's all there."
