Do I have to have a computer system?
Should you choose an annual traditionally underwritten policy
you can carry on using your current rental software or use a manual
system, however if you opt for GoHire the pay as you go
alternative, Towergate require you operate the Prohire vehicle
rental system which includes:
- Rental Desk
- Billing & Invoicing
- Fleet Management
- Accounts
- Reporting
How is the premium calculated?
We can calculate premium in a number of ways including, a price
per vehicle, percentage of rental revenue or on the number of
rental days.
Who can I rent my vehicles to under your policies?
We have some of the widest ranging covers available in the
market place and each risk can be tailored to your requirements but
as a general rule anyone who is 21-75 years of age with 1 years
driving experience.
How often will my Towergate Account Manager visit me?
You will have a number of visits throughout the year depending
on your business size and needs but as a minimum you will see your
account manager 3 times in the first year as well as visits from
your dedicated claims liaison manager at quarterly intervals if
required.
Do I need to pay for my premium upfront at the beginning of the
year?
With a traditional annual policy, we are able to offer various
payment options including paying over two or three months, or you
can spread the payments out over 10-12 months, subject to
status.
The pay as you go scheme is exactly what it states; you pay your
premium on a monthly basis, declaring rental days to allow us to
calculate your premium, Subject to an agreed minimum monthly
amount. We will collect this from your bank account.
