Young Drivers Insurance
i-kube Young Drivers Insurance gives motorists aged between
17-25 cost-effective and fully-comprehensive car insurance. Unlike
most young driver insurance policies, i-kube won’t penalise you for
your age. Instead, they incentivise young drivers
by offering discounts to their policy. This means that fully
comprehensive Young Drivers Insurance with i-kube could
cost less than third party cover with other insurers. All
you have to do is agree to not drive your car between 11pm and 5am
– the hours that have been identified as the ‘red hours’ hours for
young drivers. This doesn’t mean you’re forbidden from driving
during these hours, and you will still be fully insured if you do.
But, you will have to pay an excess of £100 each time you drive
during the ‘high-risk’ hours.

insurance, i-kube Young Drivers Insurance works by fitting a small
GPS device to your car. The i-kube detects when the car is being
driven. So, as long as the car remains static during the ‘red
hours’ you will not be charged the additional excess of £100. There
is an annual charge of £249, covering monitoring and installation
of the i-kube. This fee will be included within your quote. Don’t
worry, you don’t have to fit the device yourself – this will all be
taken care of and professionally fitted for you. And should you
change cars, the i-kube box can be easily swapped over and fitted
in your new vehicle at a small cost.
In addition to the discounts received from staying off the road
during the ‘red hours’, you could see your premiums reduced even
further with the Pass Plus – an advanced driving test for young
drivers.
