Following on from its recent sponsorship of Sonia
McColl’s Park Home Owners Justice Campaign, park home insurance
provider, Towergate Insurance, is supporting her latest
initiative - an e-petition to Government calling for further
legislative protection for park home owners.
The petition calls for a number of significant changes to
current legislation including; the introduction of a ‘Fit &
Proper Person Test’ for park owners and managers, a review of the
10% commission currently payable to the park owner when a home is
sold and an end to sale blocking, when park owners deliberately
frustrate the private sale of a park home.
Towergate Insurance invites all its park home policyholders,
members of the Park Home Owners’ Club and website visitors to
support the e-petition and increase pressure on MPs to enact new
legislation as soon as possible.
