Here are some of the questions we are often asked about our
Adventurous Training, R&R, Sports Tours, Group Travel and
Winter Sports Insurance:
Q: How do I apply?
A: Initial contact should be made by email or
telephone to provide us with the details of your trip and the cover
you require. Alternatively, use the enquiry button on the
Adventurous Training, R&R, Sports Tours, Group Travel and
Winter Sports Insurance web page and we will contact you. Quotes
are issued by email. Once you have confirmed that you wish to
proceed, the policy documents will be emailed to you.
Q: What information do I need to give when applying?
A: We will need details such as Exercise Name,
Exercise Location, Number of Participants, Start and Finish dates
of the trip, Contact Details and Activities to be undertaken.
Q: When should I apply?
A: Although we pride ourselves on being able to
offer cover right up to the day of departure, you should get in
touch as early as possible during the planning stages of your trip.
Nominal Rolls can be amended at no extra charge right up to the day
of departure.
Q: How do I pay?
A: If payment has not already been received, we
will issue an invoice with the policy documents. Payment can be
made by cheque, debit card or by an electronic bank transfer.
Payment must be made before the date of departure. However, we do
understand that exigencies of the service can cause last minute
departures or last minute changes, so payment can, at times, be
delayed slightly. In such instances we will be able to accept
payment within 30 days of the planned departure.
Q: Who is the insurer?
A: We predominantly use two insurers. These are
Axiom Underwriting Agency Ltd and QBE (Europe) Ltd. Both companies
have a wealth of experience in underwriting products for HM
Forces.
