Extension of cover for temporary workers

Our flexible cover can extend to short-term and temporary workers you employ for particular jobs, meaning you can easily add extra resource when needed and remain fully covered.

Do you cover tree felling as part of your gardeners and landscape gardeners insurance?

We can offer tree felling cover of up to 15m as a optional extra. For a further excess this can be extended to any height on request.

Do you cover gardens in non-domestic locations?

Yes, we can provide gardeners and landscape gardeners cover for gardens in commercial, public and high-risk locations, to meet the extra protection required. These can include schools, hospitals, restaurants, cafes and marinas.

Do you cover burning of garden debris?

Yes, this can be covered on a liability policy, subject to safety conditions being followed.

Are labour-only gardening sub-contractors covered in the same way that direct PAYE staff are under the employer’s liability policy?

Yes. We can cover both types of gardening employees for the same risks. It is however vial to declare how your gardening workforce are employed, as this will affect how your risks are calculated.

To help you spread the cost of your premiums, we offer a quick and easy direct debit scheme for payment. We can spread payment over three, six, ten or 12 months depending on your needs.
