Employer's liability cover

Do you have employees? Whatever your profession, employer’s liability insurance is a legal requirement if you employ staff or have volunteers, and is designed to cover your legal liability to employees if they are injured at work or become ill as a result of the work they do for you. We can include this cover in addition to your hypnotherapists’ insurance any time you take on an employee.

When you need to make a claim, we'll guide you through the process and get your claim settled as quickly as possible.

Hypnotherapy insurance FAQs

No, we do not need to know how many clients you will be seeing throughout the policy year.

We do not need to see a copy of these. We will insure you on utmost good faith If a claim was made against you this may be when we would need to see evidence of this.

Yes, we do not specify how much experience you have in the area or where you studied.

No, we do not specify an age limit for your clients.

Yes we can provide cover for you to work outside of the UK, as long as you live and are based in the UK and do not have any assets in the country you would like to work in - for example, a house. As it is a UK policy, if a claim were made for work carried out in another country, we would need to bring the claim through the UK legal system. If you had a house in that country for example, monies would be claimed from your assets to protect the claim.

We provide cover for you to work from home automatically within the policy; however, we need to make you aware that damage to property in your home arising from business activity would be covered by a home insurance policy, providing your insurers have been advised that you are working from home.

If you would prefer to spread the cost of your RIB insurance policy, you have the option of setting up a Direct Debit to pay your premium bimonthly instalments through our preferred provider, Premium Credit Limited (PCL).

To find out more about PCL and direct debit payments, select Direct Debit.

To understand more about how PCL work together with Towergate, please read our Regulatory Information.
