Does Landlord Insurance Include Boiler Cover?

Landlord insurance does not automatically include boiler cover. However, you can add landlord home emergency insurance to your existing landlord policy for just £79.99 (inclusive of 12% Insurance Premium Tax) per property.

The policy includes the following domestic boiler emergencies:

• The complete breakdown of the heating system
• Plumbing and drainage problems

With one call an approved contractor will come to your rented property and make emergency repairs if your boiler is affected by an unforeseen domestic emergency. The policy will pay up to £500 for all contractor’s costs, charges, and parts and materials used relating to the same boiler emergency.
