Canoe Insurance and Kayak Insurance
Here are some of the questions we are often asked. If you can’t

Is my canoe covered while in transit?
Yes, your canoe is covered should it be damaged while in
transit. The canoe should be securely fastened to a trailer or roof
rack.
Is my canoe covered for racing?
Yes, your canoe is covered for racing as well as the liability
cover in the unfortunate event that you hit someone else.
Can I take my canoe abroad?
Yes, the policy provides 30 days European cover.
Is my canoe covered at the club?
Provided that it is stored in a secure compound and the trailer
has either a wheel clamp or ball hitch to it.
Can I leave my canoe unattended at any time?
No. You must take reasonable precautions to prevent theft and it
should be kept in a securely locked building when not in use.
