Five Inspiring Boat Designs at Crick Boat Show 2019

At the Crick Boat Show

Check out our favourite boat designs from the Crick Boat Show 2019.

We were back for this year’s Crick Boat Show and had a great time talking to our marina partners and customers.

There was plenty going on during the day, but the highlight for us were some of the inspiring boat designs that caught our eye. We’ve pulled together a list of the top five: from loud and proud to understated and classic, there’s something for everyone.

Game of Thrones

Probably the most talked about show on the planet these past couple of months. Whether you loved the ending or not, you couldn’t walk past this Game-of-Thrones-inspired boat without stopping to take in all its glory.

We loved the monochrome colour scheme with the touchers of yellow that really stood out in the midday sun. The design promotes sustainability delicately through the use of solar energy.

This design was 'loud' in the best way and really stood out from the crowd. The traditional ‘roses’ made up with the geometric shapes and delicately painted ‘castles’ were equally impressive. We also loved the florals.

Jellicle Moon

Classic and contemporary, the deep navy and white colour palette made this narrowboat look sleek and modern.

The brightness of the orange certainly made this beautiful vessel stand out amongst the crowd. The contrast of the green helped to emphasise the name on the boat and the wooden floors worked perfectly.
