Dinghy insurance FAQs

To make sure a trailer is secure whilst carrying your dinghy, we ask you to ensure that a wheel clamp or hitch lock is fitted to the trailer whilst it is unattended. Not only does it help to deter theft of your dinghy and trailer, it also means your insurance will l be valid if the craft is stolen.

Legal Expenses cover is available as an optional additional product that you can choose to add to your policy. This cover can be added when taking out your cover online or alternatively, contact us and speak to an advisor to add it to your policy.

We offer three levels of cover for dinghies. There's insurance for “cruising UK inland and coastal waters”, “racing at club level” and “racing at club level plus open meetings national and European”.

Whether you buy online or over the phone with our helpful team, you can pay by debit card or credit card.
