Be ‘sailing club ready’ with £5 million in third-party dinghy liability cover. Exclusions include, employees and marine trade workers, fare paying passengers and divers.
No Claims Discount to recognise careful dinghy ownership. 5% discount per year up to 25% discount for five years.
With our online portal you can review and amend your cover amounts before renewal to reflect the current value of your dinghy and contents.
Option to add cover for damage to dinghy masts and sails while racing. You can also extend your policy to cover you for legal expenses and personal accident benefit (up to the age of 75).
To make sure a trailer is secure whilst carrying your dinghy, we ask you to ensure that a wheel clamp or hitch lock is fitted to the trailer whilst it is unattended. Not only does it help to deter theft of your dinghy and trailer, it also means your insurance will l be valid if the craft is stolen.
Legal Expenses cover is available as an optional additional product that you can choose to add to your policy. This cover can be added when taking out your cover online or alternatively, contact us and speak to an advisor to add it to your policy.
We offer three levels of cover for dinghies. There's insurance for “cruising UK inland and coastal waters”, “racing at club level” and “racing at club level plus open meetings national and European”.
Whether you buy online or over the phone with our helpful team, you can pay by debit card or credit card.
If you would prefer to spread the cost of your dinghy insurance policy, you have the option of setting up a Direct Debit to pay your premium by monthly instalments through our preferred provider, Premium Credit Limited (PCL).
