Are tools insured when in transit under your workshop insurance?


This is not a standard cover as not everyone needs this. We can cover your tools and equipment should it be stolen when your tools are in transit to and from your workshop. Please ensure you inform us so that we can understand your needs ensuring this cover away from your premises is included.


Does your workshop insurance cover me for goods-in-transit cover?


It is not always a standard feature, so please ensure you explain the cover you need for your stock in your business vehicles, between your premises and suppliers or customers, as well as delivery to your customers.


Am I covered financially if I cannot use my workshop due to an incident?


Our workshop insurance can include business interruption cover to recompense loss of gross profit if you have to close your premises to fix the problems caused by a break in, escape of water, a fire or storm. Check your policy for details of the perils covered.


Is there a minimum amount of workshop insurance cover that I need to buy?

If my workshop is rented, do I require buildings insurance?
