Fully furnished properties, with building and contents cover, can remain unoccupied for up to 60 consecutive days with cover against loss or damage due to theft, malicious damage and escape of water (Between 1 November - 31 March, when unoccupied overnight, any plumbed systems must be drained down or property maintained at a minimum 15C).
We provide cover for accidental damage caused by yourself, and malicious damage or vandalism caused by an intruder, where forceable or violent entry has occurred. We cannot cover accidental damage, malicious damage, or vandalism caused by a paying guest.
Whether you rent out the whole property or a part of your home – we can cover you. We also don’t cap the number of days your property can be rented, providing cover from 24 hours upwards.
Cover for up to £2m for third party claims such as injury to a guest on your property during their stay, and £10m for domestic employees such as cleaning or maintenance staff.
