Don’t worry, if you contact us then your policy can be automatically extended to cover you for medical expenses until it’s agreed you’re fit to travel home. Our 24-hour helpline service on +44 (0)1473 351757 will liaise with you, and your treating doctor, and once you’re fit to travel they will make the appropriate alternative arrangements. Cover applies only if you or your family travelling with you become ill.

We’ll provide cover if you fall unwell and treatment isn't available locally however, first you should call the 24-hour emergency assistance service on +44 (0)1473 351757.
Make sure you report it to the police within 24 hours of discovery, making sure you get a written report and crime reference number. If however some of your items are lost or are damaged during transit then retain your luggage tags and report it to the airline/rail company right away.
If you find your luggage is delayed for more than 12 hours on your outward journey then you may need to purchase some essential items such as toiletries and a change of clothes – just keep your receipts and you’ll be able to submit a claim.
