Our hospice and palliative care insurance policies can include the following features:

Online risk support

Towergate works with Health and Safety Click Ltd to ensure that your hospice complies with health and safety and HR obligations, while minimising the risk of claims or disputes. This service, available to our hospice insurance customers, provides information, downloadable policies, procedures and documentation, as well as relevant news. It also provides an e-learning tool which provides 11 RoSPA, CPD and NVQ accredited courses.*

Dedicated account management

Our policy puts a hospice's fundamental objectives at the core. Our team of business development executives are available to visit your hospice in order to fully understand your needs, before providing you with a quote. We believe this is the best way to ensure that you have a policy that meets your specialist requirements. In order to maintain this bespoke service, we provide annual and half year face to face reviews with our customers.

Cyber cover

Cyber crime is an ever growing problem and hospices are not immune from cyber-attacks. We have a range of cyber insurance products available which will help you to protect your data, systems and reputation.

Hospice liability insurance

Protection against claims made against you for negligence, as well as protection to cover the costs of litigation. All nurses are automatically covered and this is on a claims made basis, protecting you against medical malpractice claims made against you for events in the past.

*Towergate online risk support is not an insurance product or service and therefore is not regulated by the FCA. It is not subject to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Hospice Insurance Claims

Our in house hospice insurance claims team are on hand Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm to support you. Furthermore, if you have a more urgent concern, we offer a 24 hour helpline.

For material damage and business interruption claims of over £5,000 you can count on our Claims Assist team. We will appoint a chartered loss adjuster specialising in the type of loss you have experienced to look after your interests and ensure the entire claims process is handled quickly, fairly and without unnecessary stress.

Guide to Commercial Property Insurance

Commercial property or commercial landlord insurance is protection for property owners who are letting out to 3rd parties for commercial use. Your tenant is the business, organisation or group who has a rental agreement in place legally allowing them to inhabit your property. It is this agreement that defines you as a landlord and which qualifies you for such a policy.
