The Specialist Leisure Group (SLG), made up of Caledonian Travel, National Holidays, Shearings Holidays, Shearings Hotels (including Coast & Country Hotels), ukbreakaways and Wallace Arnold Travel, sadly went into administration on the 22 May 2020. What should I do if I have booked with Specialist Leisure Group?

Please read the current advice to all Specialist Leisure Group customers. This confirms what you should do and who you should contact concerning a refund of your holiday and travel insurance payments, depending on what type of tour you booked and with which brand.

Does my travel insurance cover a booking with an SLG brand?

Am I covered for cancellation through travel insurance purchased as part of a booking with a Specialist Leisure Group brand?

No, unfortunately insolvency / liquidation of your tour operator is not covered by the travel insurance policy that you have purchased from a Specialist Leisure Group brand.

Can I get a refund on holiday payments (including travel insurance) purchased through a Specialist Leisure Group brand?

To pursue a refund of holiday payments from a Specialist Leisure Group brand, including any travel insurance premium paid to them directly, you will need to contact the appointed administrators for that brand.
