The policies are suitable for UK based cleaning businesses who work on both domestic and commercial properties. Cover for Public liability and Employers liability sections arising out of work undertaken in hospitals is not covered.

Yes, you can include cover for permanent and self-employed cleaners. It is important that you declare how your workforce are employed as this will impact how risks are calculated.

Yes, all types of employee can be covered for the same risks.

Yes, cover can be tailored to your needs.  You can select cleaners and cleaning insurance policies for domestic properties only; domestic properties plus shops and offices; and domestic and commercial properties with additional cover for hazardous locations added on to suit your requirements.

Yes, you can choose to extend cover to include products liability for goods supplied and if you have a warehouse/ trade counter then you can include stock cover and your general contents for accidental damage, flood and other perils. Goods in transit to cover loss or damage whilst to transit is another option.

To help you spread the cost of your premiums, you can choose to spread payment over ten months with the Markel quick and easy Direct Debit scheme.
