Number one on the list had to be our winner, the fantastic Woolacombe Bay. There are four parks to choose form at Woolacombe Bay but their flagship park really stands out of the crowd. The park is full of action including a unique surfing simulator, bungee trampolines and even a rock climbing wall. If that’s not your thing or if you’d just like to kick back and relax, their village greens and laid-back lakes are sure to relax and help you feel relaxed on your weekend away at Golden Coast (the number one beach in the UK don’t you know).
Located in the heart of The Gower is another of our favourites to feature in the top 10 of The Great British Park Off 2015. The park was awarded with the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2014 and their customer reviews speak for themselves. The park is located within easy driving distance of over 20 beautiful beaches if you fancy a try at some surfing, or if you’d prefer to try something a bit more adventurous, the Gower even caters for hang gliding and para gliding. Kennexstone has some of the most fantastic views in the UK, and should be a number one choice for your stay at The Gower.
Whitefield Forest touring park is our third contender to make it in the top 10. The award winning family business supports and works with the Forestry commission and the Isle of Wight Conservation Partnership to help maintain the natural beauty of the forest whilst encouraging wildlife, such as the red squirrel, whilst providing them with a safe and secure environment to live in. Whitefield’s reviews speak for themselves, with many customers returning year on year for their perfect family break.
The next contender in our top 10 is Rockley Park. The park offers a new ‘Rockley Park Select’ range where you can give yourself a luxury five star treat. The scheme allows you to choose your modern holiday home and exact location for your stay. The views and surroundings at the park overlook Poole Harbour and you’re able to walk straight from the park on to the beach. If you’re in need of some more relaxation, then their luxurious spa and treatment rooms are available for some pampering. Rockley was a strong contender in our top 10.
Oakdown Country Holiday Park has been looked after by the Franks family for more than 40 years, and their multi award winning park has made it in our top 10 of 2015. Perfect for family holidays along the coast, their new luxury leisure lodges will undoubtedly make you feel right at home. Nearby, you can visit the Jurassic Coast which offers a spectacular view and stunning scenery or if you fancy something more active, their Oakmead golf course caters for all of the family only a short stroll away.
Located in Ashford, the award winning caravan and camping park, Broadhembury, is the sixth to make it in our top 10. The 45 year old park has been graded ‘excellent’ by the English Tourism Council and has recently become a winner of TripAdvisor’s ‘Certificate of Excellence’. The park also offers a fantastic ‘satisfaction guarantee’ as they’re confident you’ll enjoy your stay and your experience at the five star park. Their reviews say it all, and that’s why Broadhembury made it in our top 10.
Celebrating their 40th birthday this year, the Wooda Farm Holiday Park overlooks Bude and the North Cornish Coastline. The family run business are celebrating in style this year with their vintage caravan, ‘Bessie’ which is available to stay in for that romantic break away. Of course, if ‘Bessie’ isn’t for you or if you’re on a break with your friends, their luxurious Cornish cottages can cater for up to 10 people. Wonderful Wooda deservedly secured a spot in our top 10.
Hendra is another park that features in our top 10. This five star holiday park has the choice of 12 fields to choose from with your choice of pitch, from standard and electrical pitches, to their ‘super’ and ‘grand premium’ pitches. The park has award winning facilities and room for all of the family, including fluffy ones with waggy tails! The site also features their very own ‘Hendra Pods’ if you and your loved one fancy a try at some glamping in Cornwall. In the evening, you can kick back and relax with the park’s entertainment, which features live entertainment, fancy dress and even a cash bingo!

The site caters for couples wishing to have a relaxing break away and families who want to have some family fun together. The holiday park has many activities for all of the family. From their outdoor heated swimming pool, hair and beauty treatments to their five fishing ponds which are well stocked up with carp for a spot of coarse fishing. It’s why Cofton has made the top 10 of 2015.
The final contender in our top 10 was an award winning park based in Norfolk. The park has an indoor ‘Tropical Water World’ complete with water slides and fountains. If the British weather holds up, there’s an outdoor ‘Splash Zone’ pool with water jets and mini slides for your little ones. Another entertaining feature at the park is their cinema under the stars where you can all enjoy a family film together in the warm summer evenings. Believe it or not, there’s even more entertainment at this park but almost too much to mention. That’s why Vauxhall has made it in our top 10 parks for 2015.
