24 hour home emergency cover

Imagine you have a burst pipe in the middle of the night, we provide a 24 hour contact who will come to you and carry out emergency repairs. You will have no excess to pay for this cover so it won’t leave you out of pocket but just be aware there is a limit of £500 per claim.

New for old cover for home and contents

We will replace your park home with a brand new equivalent model where necessary and this is true for your contents too. If you have higher value or unusual items it is important that you give us a call so that we can discuss the things you love in more detail.

We understand that park home legislation is changing all the time and that these changes can be confusing. For that reason, our cover includes a 24 hour legal helpline, manned by experts who can answer your questions and concerns. Our legal cover is limited to disputes related to your park home, check your policy booklet or ask the team for the full list of exclusions.

No excess on most claims

You can relax knowing that there is no excess applicable to most claims on our Insurance for your Park Home policy. The only one to watch out for is the excess related to subsidence, landslip or heave which is a £500 excess.

What happens at renewal?

We will try to give you a call before renewal is due to see if you would like to make any changes to your policy. We’ll then send your renewal in the post with plenty of time for you to check through the details and make sure you’re happy. You can pay by direct debit, cheque or in full on a debit or credit card.

What is blanket cover and why do I need it?

We give a blanket cover on our park home policies which means for a double unit, you will be insured up to £500,000 for the replacement of the park home and up to £75,000 for the replacement of your contents. For a single unit £250,000 is covered for buildings and £50,000 for your contents. The reason for having these figures in place is to make sure that we can cover a full replacement of your park home as new, even if the value of a new home has increased a little over the years. It also ensures extra costs like debris removal and delivery of a new home are all covered and you are not left out of pocket.

What happens if I have a legal dispute with the park owner?

You can speak with legal experts at Park Home Legal Services for any advice you should need and this is included in our policies. In addition, we have legal support available from Abbey Legal protection who can offer advice and represent you in court or at a Residential Property Tribunal. Just remember this cover is for park home specific disputes only.

Can I pay in instalments?

If you would prefer to spread the cost of your policy you have the option of setting up a Direct Debit to pay your premium in equal monthly instalments through our preferred provider, Premium Credit Limited (PCL).
