Our garden centre insurance package can provide all the property and liability covers you would expect with flexible limits tailored to your horticultural business. Our flexible options mean you can chose to include a variety of features including goods in transit, money and statutory inspection cover for your equipment.
We automatically include up to £5000 of refrigerated or frozen stock, and any of your property out in the open, including stock, is covered up to £500 for any item against fire, lightning, aircraft, explosion and theft, as standard on all our policies.
We recognise that each garden centre has unique horticultural insurance requirements and we can extend our policy to incorporate cover for additional activities including café and restaurants, playground areas and landscaping services as well as liability towards concessions or other businesses trading from your premises.
The very nature of your business means that some times of the year you’re exceptionally busy and as such we have incorporated an automatic 25% increase to your stock free of charge during the months of November, December and January and 6 weeks either side of any UK Bank Holiday. So during the busiest times, you’ve one less thing to think about.
We have an in house claims team who can guide you through the process in the unfortunate event of a claim. They are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
For material damage and business interruption claims of over £5,000 we will appoint a chartered loss adjuster specialising in the type of loss you have experienced to look after your interests and ensure the entire claims process is handled quickly, fairly and without unnecessary stress.
