As standard we provide cover for any incidents involving another vehicle where you are at fault as well as legal liability for death or injury to any other person including passengers. Additionally, we offer a standard £20,000,000 for damage to other people’s property.

Fire and theft

We’ve included theft, and attempted theft, as standard on our competition car policies as well as fire cover, so you can have peace of mind that you are insured against damage or loss as a result.

We're ever improving our service for our customers and online customers are now able to retrieve and store their policy documents online. Simply login to our new document portal and find all your documents in one place.

Specialist insurance rates for car club member

We give specialist rates if you are a member of a Footman James approved classic car club. These can be applied both online and over the phone. You can also get discount if you limit the mileage on your cherished car insurance policy. Mileage options available are between 1,000 and 10,000 miles.

Additional cover

Protected No Claim Discount

You won’t lose your No Claim Discount after making a claim when you’re at fault (unless you make more than two claims in any five-year period).

Tools, Spares & Protective Clothing

Cover for up to £2,000, £5,000 or £10,000 of tools, spares and protective clothing only and when directly relevant to the insured vehicle.

Road rally sections

Provides Third Party Only, or equivalent cover, where required for road/special sections and stages of events where the cover is legally required only.
