There is no cap on how much a compensation claim can be in the UK. This means a claim could be hundreds of thousands, even millions of pounds. Your policy can protect you against claims for compensation.
Our beauty therapist insurance gives you access to a 24 hour helpline which can provide instant impartial advice in the instance of a potential claim against you.
Our liability package which also includes: public liability, employers’ liability, products liability and libel and slander cover. With our package, you can be sure that your business is covered.
Our policy includes cover for many different beauty therapy treatments, including skin care, waxing, spray tanning and microdermabrasion.
The team of legal advisers we work with can help you right from the beginning, even before an official claim has even been made.
In terms of the claim itself, we can talk you through the steps you need to take to prepare and how to further protect yourself. This won’t prejudice your claim either and you won’t need to fill out any paper work until you are ready to make a claim.
Just advice and support as you need it.
Our in-house professional indemnity care insurance claims handlers are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm to support you. Furthermore, if you have a more urgent concern, we offer a 24-hour helpline.

When buying liability insurance for your business it is all too easy to think that your moral and legal responsibility ends there. However, it is important that you work to reduce the risk of accidents occurring as a result of your business. Read our guide to find out how risk assessments and first aid training can help your business.
Our policy includes cover for a wide range of beauty therapy treatments, including facial and skin care, waxing, spray tanning, makeup application, manicure & pedicure (including gel acrylics), body massage, microdermabrasion and electrical treatments.
We are only able to provide cover for cosmetic treatments including tinting, dyeing and bleaching if a relevant skin test has been carried out beforehand. Talk to us about the full list of the treatments you provide, and we can advise you of any that we are not able to cover.
In order to be eligible to claim under our policy, you must be qualified to at least a level 2 in the treatments you are providing.
Our advice is always to take out the maximum level of cover you can reasonably afford. We provide a range of indemnity limits - £1m, £2m, £3m, £5m and £10m, and can provide you with the cost of each of these levels when going through your quotation with you.
If you would prefer to spread the cost of your policy you have the option of setting up a direct debit to pay your premium in equal monthly instalments through our preferred provider, Premium Credit Limited (PCL).
To find out more about PCL and direct debit payments, select direct debit.
To understand more about how PCL works together with Towergate, please read our regulatory information.
